01About these terms
These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of the websites, apps and services provided by Veyra Health B.V. and its affiliates ("Veyra", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them together with our privacy policy.
02Our services
Veyra connects you with independent, licensed clinicians for virtual consultations, mental health support, women's health, chronic condition management and diagnostic testing. Services vary by country and are described in the app before you book.
Clinicians use their own professional judgement. They may decide that a virtual consultation is not appropriate for your needs and recommend in-person care, and they are not obliged to issue a prescription, referral or certificate.
03Not for emergencies
Veyra Health is not an emergency service. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number (such as 911, 112 or 999) or go to the nearest emergency department.
Do not use Veyra's messaging, chat or booking features to report urgent or life-threatening symptoms.
04Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Parents and legal guardians may add children to their account and use services on their behalf where available. You must be physically located in a country where the relevant service is offered at the time of your consultation.
05Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the accuracy of the information you give us, including your medical history. Tell us straight away if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.
- Use your own identity and accurate personal details.
- Don't share your account or use it on behalf of another adult.
- Don't misuse the service, harass clinicians or staff, or attempt to access systems without authorisation.
06Payments & memberships
Prices are shown before you book or subscribe and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Membership plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. If you use insurance or an employer benefit, you remain responsible for any amount your cover does not pay.
07Cancellations & refunds
You can cancel or reschedule a booked appointment free of charge up to 2 hours before it starts. You can cancel a membership at any time in your account settings: monthly plans end at the close of the current billing month, and yearly plans can be refunded pro-rata within the first 30 days.
If you live in the EU or UK, you also have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, except where a service has already been fully provided with your consent.
08Liability
We take great care to provide a safe and reliable service, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, Veyra is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
09Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Amsterdam. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
10Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our services or the law. We will give you reasonable notice of significant changes in the app or by email. If you continue to use Veyra after the changes take effect, the updated Terms will apply. Questions? Contact us at care@veyrahealth.com.
